Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a SareLearn account or using any SareLearn service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using SareLearn on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use SareLearn.

2. Description of Services

SareLearn provides an AI-powered language exam preparation platform. Our services include: practice exercises, mock exams, AI coaching sessions, vocabulary training, and progress tracking for language certification exams including TELC, Goethe, IELTS, DELF, DELE, HSK, JLPT, CILS, TOPIK, TOEFL, DALF, and CELI.

SareLearn is a preparation tool. We do not administer official exams, guarantee exam results, or represent or partner with any official certification body unless otherwise stated.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others or use another person's account.

You must be at least 16 years old to create a SareLearn account. Users between 16 and 18 must have parental consent.

SareLearn reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

SareLearn offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions (Pro and Intensive) are billed monthly or annually in advance. All prices are shown in Euros (EUR) and include applicable VAT.

Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to paid features until then.

SareLearn offers a 14-day refund period for new subscriptions. After 14 days, payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on SareLearn — including exam questions, exercises, illustrations, AI responses, and course materials — is owned by SareLearn GmbH or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

Content you submit to SareLearn (responses, essays, answers) remains yours. You grant SareLearn a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use your submitted content to improve our AI models and services. This licence is anonymous — we do not associate your submissions with your identity when used for AI training.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not use SareLearn to: violate any law or regulation; attempt to gain unauthorised access to SareLearn systems; scrape or automate access to SareLearn content; share account credentials; impersonate another person; upload harmful, illegal, or infringing content; or interfere with other users' use of SareLearn.

The AI coaching feature is for exam preparation purposes. Misuse of the AI for off-topic or harmful purposes may result in account suspension.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

SareLearn is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular exam score or outcome will result from using SareLearn.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SareLearn disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SareLearn's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to SareLearn in the 12 months before the claim arose.

SareLearn shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages, including loss of profit, loss of data, or failure to pass any exam.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Berlin, Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to you by email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of SareLearn after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
